Krista Boothby President - Joined the board in 2008.  She is an artist working in mixed media mask making and an interest in art dolls.  Part owner of Blue Skies Gallery in Hampton Virginia but currently live in Lynchburg Virginia. Member of the Riverviews Co-op Board of Directors, and Secretary of the Board of Directors of the newly formed James River Council for the Arts & Humanities.  She enjoys supporting local talent and feels it is important to support those who depend on the local economy for their livelihood.

Naomi Amos Vice President - Joined the board in 2008.  She teaches piano at James River Day School and is a part-time development consultant. She is an active professional pianist and composer, working with Opera on the James, and Agudath Sholom congregation. Received her B.A. at the University of Rochester and Eastman School of Music, and her Masters of Music at Eastman. In addition to numerous performances as soloist and accompanist, she has created music designs for 14 theatrical productions. Serves as Secretary of the Board of Administration at Agudath Sholom congregation, and is a member of the board of Forte Chamber Music.

Andy MacCallum Secretary - Joined the board in 2008. Raised in Lynchburg and currently a stay home dad. BA in English Lit., MA in Non-Fiction Writing and Editing. Prior to current occupation worked in several fields including 10 years in the restaurant industry, 4 years as sales and customer service manager for a publishing firm in Reston, VA, and an internship with Feedback magazine (Richmond, VA) as feature writer. Chair of the Marketing Committee, and CINEviews co-chair 2008.

Shann Arrington Treasurer - Joined the Board in 2009 as interim Treasurer of the Riverviews Non-Profit and appointed Treasurer of the Riverviews Condo Association.  Partner, Greenpoint Design Associates LLC, Design Associate at Craddock-Cunningham Architectural Partners.  A native of Lynchburg, he received a B.S. in Architecture from the University of Virginia.  An original design team project manager for the Riverviews Artspace, he has remained an active participant in building renovations and upgrades since project inception.  Chairman of the Finance Committee

June Britt - Joined the Board in 2010.   Partner, Britt Marketing & Public Relations; co-publisher of Virginia Wine Lover. magazine.  Arts background includes 10 years as director of Lynchburg Fine Arts Center (LFAC).  Involvement in numerous arts and other non-profits in Central Virginia including most recently Academy of Fine Arts, Opera On The James, CineViews, Lynchburg Symphony.  Recipient of the YWCA’s 2000 Woman of Achievement in the Arts. Active advocate for the arts at statewide and national levels.  Appointed to Virginia Commission for the Arts (VCA) 1994; chair, 1998-1999.  Represented VCA on Mid-Atlantic Arts Fdn; grant panelist.  Frequently serves on VCA grant review panels.  Board of Virginians for the Arts (VFTA) 1998 to present; three year term as president.  Founding member of Virginians for the Arts Foundation.  Chair of VFTA marketing committee; currently guides the “Arts Build Communities” project.  Member of coordinating committee and judge for 2000 Governor’s Awards.  State coordinator for 2008 Governor’s Awards.      

Annette Chenault Past Vice-President - Joined the Board in 2006; Planner II in Community Development, City of Lynchburg, with primary oversight of historic preservation activities, including responsibility of overseeing alterations to over 700 historic-designated properties, grant writing and monitoring and Secretary to the Historic Preservation Commission; painter in pastels and watercolors; also serves on the Anne Spencer House & Garden Museum Board, Member of Lynchburg Historical Foundation, and Member of the Lynchburg Art Club

Meridith DeAvila Khan - Joined the board in 2008She is currently the Director of Marketing at the Academy of Fine Arts; she is also involved with the ArtsLynchburg periodical, is a member of the Blue Ridge Photographic Arts Society and Young Professionals of Central Virginia, and participated in the City of Lynchburg’s Community Dialogue on Race and Racism. She has a B.A. in Creative Writing, and is an avid fine art photographer and mixed media painter. A Lynchburg transplant, she is excited to be involved with the downtown revitalization efforts on many levels; most recently, she moved with her husband & new daughter into their “Grand Old Lady,” an 1893 Victorian in College Hill they are happy to call home.

Laura Dupuy - Joined the  board in 2007. Executive director of the Lynchburg Neighborhood Development Foundation (LNDF) and executive director and secretary of the Lynchburg Community Loan Fund.  An attorney formerly with the Virginia Legal Aid Society in Farmville and Lynchburg. Serves on the board for Johnson Community Health Center, Earthcraft-Virginia, Virginia Community Development Corporation, the Virginia Housing Coalition, and is a gubernatorial appointee to the Virginia Fair Housing Board. Ms. Dupuy is a graduate of New York University and George Mason University Law School and is a member of the Virginia State Bar.

Rob Gray – Joined the board in 2006.  Practiced law in Appomottox for 30 years.  Served on the Community Services Board for many years and the Gateway Volunteer Staff for 5 years.  Rob is very involved in community theatre both behind the scenes and on stage.

Leslie King - Joined the board in 2009.  Leslie is a native of Lynchburg. She was recently promoted to the Assistant to the City Manager after working as the Assistant Coordinator for the Community Dialogue on Race & Racism within the City of Lynchburg. She graduated from Randolph Macon Woman’s College with a BA in Psychology. In her free time, she enjoys mentoring, salsa dancing, the arts, and exploring new places and international cuisine.

Margie Lippard - Joined the board in 2009.  Born and raised in Lynchburg and graduated from E.C. Glass High School. She earned her B.A. at Smith College, an M.Ed. at Harvard University, an M.A. from University of Virginia, and an M.B.A. from the College of William and Mary. After working in Private Wealth and Investment Management from 10 years at SunTrust Bank, Margie now works as Director of Development at United Way of Central Virginia. 

Tom Morris - Joined the board in 2009.  Originally from New Rochelle NY, Tom was educated at Iona Prep School and after a long hiatus at Iona College finishing in December 1988 with a BS in Facilities and Property Management/ Construction Management. Tom has traveled widely in the US and lived extended periods in and around Lynchburg, mid-town Manhattan, Kauai and Oahu Hawaii. Among his many acting credits are lead roles at Sweet Briar College in 1976, lead and principal acting roles and technician work at the RMWC Theatre from 1970's to 1990's. Tom went on to perform professionally most of the principal roles at Tecumseh" Outdoor Drama in Chillicothe Ohio '77, '80  & '81 where he also performed in many workshop productions and was elected company representative for a 120-member acting and technical company. In 1981, Tom became a member of The Actors Equity Association and was elected Actors Equity union shop steward at "Tecumseh". Tom has been involved in the building trades most of his life and has worked as a Project Manager and Project Superintendent. He has managed large construction projects in Hawaii where he built over 500 new condominiums and renovated nearly 200 units.  Tom currently works as Resident Project Representative at WileyIWilson, he is W&W's representative on CSO projects for the City of Lynchburg since 1998. He is a volunteer reader at Bedford Hills School, 2007, 2008, member of Landscape and Playground committees at BHS since 2007, a member of BHS PTO Board 2008/2009, Chair of the Playground Committee, BHS, 2008 /2009. Member: Riverviews 3rd Thursday Committee 2006- 2009, Chair 2008-2009, Poetry Society of Virginia and the Piedmont Literary Society  from 2006. Award winning writer (Writers Digest 2008), poet (Poetry Society of VA 2007), and sculptor (Bath County Art Show 2008).

Beth Packert - Joined the Board in 2010.  Joined the Board in 2010. Currently teaches occasional English courses at Lynchburg College. Has a B.A. and M.A. in English and worked several years on a Ph.D. in English at the University of Illinois before attending law school there (J.D. 1985). Practiced law in Chicago, served as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Lynchburg, and then had a solo practice in criminal and family law.
Retired from the practice of law in 2002 to return to teaching English (in middle school and then at the college level). Has a lifelong interest in the performing arts, the visual arts, and literature

Jim Sikkema - Joined the board in 2010.   Jim and his wife, Linda Edwards, are owners at Riverviews and have a long term commitment to the success of Riverviews and its role in the downtown Lynchburg renaissance.  His experience has included non-profit board membership over the years.  These boards include the Bradley Free Clinic and New Horizons Healthcare, the Mental Health Association of Virginia and the Virginia Association of Community Services Boards.  His professional training is in clinical social work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Diplomat in Clinical Social Work.  Although his training has been clinical in nature, his work history has been primarily public sector management and organizational development consultation.  His last administrative position was that of the Chief Executive Officer of Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare in Roanoke Virginia.  He left Blue Ridge in 2007 after 32 years to pursue other interests.  Edwards-Sikkema Associates is currently Jim and Linda’s clinical and consultation private practice.

Peggy Whitaker - Joined the board in 2009.  She is currently the principal of the architectural firm, M. Whitaker and Associates.  Graduate of E.C. Glass High School.  Attended Agnes Scott College and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and Masters of Architecture Degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Ms. Whitaker’s work has received several awards, including a special judges’ Excellence in Design Award from the Planning Commission of Hillsborough County, for her work in the historic districts of South Tampa, Florida.  Her community activities include membership in the Buckhead Business Association where she previously served on Board of Directors as VP of Area Planning and Transportation. Elected by the business community to serve three terms on NPU-B, the Buckhead planning unit for the city of Atlanta, is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Buckhead YMCA, the Southface Energy Institute and the Buckhead Area Transportation Management Association, and is past President of the Peachtree Heights East Neighborhood Association.  She is now a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church in Lynchburg, Virginia.
