The Art Trolley - along with the Academy of Fine Arts, and CJMW Architects, and the Dance Theatre of Lynchburg, Riverviews developed the Art Trolley for First Fridays.  People can park their cars and ride on the GLTC trolley to four downtown cultural events and six restaurants.  Live musicians play music on the trolley as it goes from venue to venue.  This innovative activity combines the old (a city trolley and traditional music) with the new (contemporary art scene and downtown revitalization).  And it is environmentally sound!!

The United Way& Camp Child - Forty children attended art and movement classes in the building every week for a month this summer.

Virginia Episcopal School - Students from VES serve as volunteers at Riverviews as their community service (a requirement of the school). 

Riverflicks Riverviews has special gallery hours as part of Amazement Square ’s Riverflicks pre-show entertainment.  Moviegoers are invited to visit the Craddock-Terry Gallery while they await the main attraction.

The Donovan Media Center at Lynchburg College recently awarded a grant to Riverviews.  Students will work on media projects for Riverviews for class credit. 

Riverviews Artspace invited an Arts Management class from Sweet Briar College for a special talk on “Starting an arts organization from Scratch.”  The students were given a tour of the facilities as well as a visit to an artist’s studio loft.
