Mary
Ann Racin, Executive
Director (part-time)
Before moving to Lynchburg,
Mary Ann worked in program development, marketing, and grants for
the Office of Institutional Advancement at NYU and served as a
researcher at the International Monetary Fund in Washington, DC.
Recipient of the YWCA’s 2008 Woman of Achievement in the Arts.
Serves on a Virginia Commission for the Arts grant review panel.
Currently serving as Treasurer for the James River Council for the
Arts and Humanities. Involvement in numerous downtown and
non-profit organizations includes Biggers Park ad hoc Renovation Committee, Lynchburg
Neighborhood Development Foundation, Amazement Square, and Riverflicks.
She earned her M.A. from New York University, her B.A. from
Wellesley College, and a Certificate in Textile Design from Fashion
Institute of Technology. Mary Ann came to Riverviews in 2004.
Erin Zumwalt,
Exhibitions
& Programs Manager

T Upshur,
Building
Manager (full-time)
Thomas "T" Upshur manages the Commercial and
Residential rentals, oversees the building maintenance and supports
the programming goals of Riverviews. Returned to his Lynchburg
hometown after one tour of duty in the US Air Force, and a 10 years
in banking, computer sales and service industry in Tennessee. He
actively supports the Free Clinic of Central VA, Presbyterian
Home and Meals on Wheels. Has helped Riverviews facilitate all
public programs for the past 4 years.
