Mary
Ann Racin, Executive
Director (part-time)
Before moving to Lynchburg, Mary Ann worked on programs, marketing,
and grants for the Humanities Council as part of the Office of
Institutional Advancement at New York University for five years.
She served as a researcher at the International Monetary Fund in
Washington, DC for three years. After moving to Lynchburg in
1998, she volunteered at a number of downtown organizations,
including the Biggers Park ad hoc Renovation Committee, Lynchburg
Neighborhood Development Foundation and Amazement Square. She
currently serves on the Riverflicks Committee.
She has
a MA in Cultural Studies from NYU, a BA from Wellesley College, and
certificate in Textile Design from the Fashion Institute of
Technology in New York.
Mary Ann came to Riverviews in 2004.
Erin Zumwalt,
Exhibitions
& Programs Manager

T Upshur,
Building
Manager (full-time)
Thomas "T" Upshur manages the Commercial and
Residential rentals, oversees the building maintenance and supports
the programming goals of Riverviews. Returned to his Lynchburg
hometown after one tour of duty in the US Air Force, and a 10 years
in banking, computer sales and service industry in Tennessee. He
actively supports the Free Clinic of Central VA, Presbyterian
Home and Meals on Wheels. Has helped Riverviews facilitate all
public programs for the past 3 years.
