Warm Streets Gallery at Riverviews is hosting a benefit juried show featuring Steampunk and Sci-Fi artwork. Artists who wish to participate may submit digital images of up to three works–any medium–for review. A non-refundable entry fee of $20 must accompany your submission. Submissions must be received by Monday, March 4, delivered to the Warm Streets Gallery (Studio 205) OR sent via email to the Warm Streets web site: www.warmstreets.org. Cash prizes of $300, $200, and $100 will be awarded plus a $100 “People’s Choice” prize. Accepted artists will be notified March 15. Be sure to include with your entry: title of the work, size, medium, entry fee of $20, your name and contact information. The pieces selected by juror Robin Nicholson, Deputy Director of Exhibitions at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts represented the breadth of work in this region. Featuring 28 artists from within a 150 mile radius of Lynchburg, the show consists of painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, live art, dance, and video.
