Craddock-Terry Gallery

Living Sculpture

This occasional program is a non-traditional performance event in which students from the Virginia School of the Arts present themselves as living sculptures within the gallery space and base their movements on the art that is displayed, music, and visual cues from gallery visitors

Fascination

Children respond to our contemporary art installations.  They have a certain curiosity and they are not daunted by something that looks new, in fact they want to explore it.

Third Thursday Literary Lounge

Once a month, published authors read from their own works.  This celebration of the spoken and written word is downtown’s longest running literary event.  Writers from Pulitzer Prize winners to notable journalists to Virginia’s Poet Laureate have graced our stage.
